I don’t know what we would have done

Hui Tze was a fantastic postpartum doula and I highly recommend her to any expecting mothers! My husband and I hired Hui Tze in connection with the birth of our daughter, who is our first child. Hui Tze’s assistance in the weeks following the birth of our daughter were invaluable and I don’t know what we would have done without her!
As part of our package, Hui Tze came to the hospital within 24 hours of the birth of our daughter and to our home for two other sessions in the weeks following (at 5 days postpartum when my milk came in and at 10 days postpartum to help with continued latching issues). I appreciated that four trimesters had the option for us to add further sessions to our package later if we had needed them (which ended up not being the case).
Hui Tze is incredibly knowledgeable about breastfeeding and baby care, which we found super helpful as first time parents. She is professional while also being kind and approachable. During the in person sessions Hui Tze helped me with the practical aspects of breastfeeding - showing me how to position the baby, how to get a proper latch and how to burp the baby etc - all which I found beyond invaluable in learning the ropes. We had some issues with my daughter’s latch, which made breastfeeding very painful and having Hui Tze show me how to address these issues in person was key in helping me continue breastfeeding in those early days when it would have been so easy to quit. Hui Tze also made herself available to answer all my questions that came up (from what to do about engorgement and sore nipples to how to store expressed breastmilk) over what’s app in between sessions (and also leading up to the birth), which I could not have done without. Finally, Hui Tze was super conscientious and checked in with us regularly and provided us with all kinds of general tips and tricks during the sessions and over what’s app (which I wouldn’t have known to ask for).
In sum, I can not recommend Hui Tze enough - the early weeks breastfeeding can be so tough with so many hurdles to navigate and opportunities to become discouraged and quit. Having Hui Tze by my side made all the difference in helping me work through all the challenges that arose and ensure a successful breastfeeding journey for my daughter and I!
