About Ginny (Singapore) Four Trimesters Pte Ltd is co-owned and operated by Ginny, who is a certified Doula, Childbirth Educator, Hypnotherapist, HypnoFertility and HypnoBirthing practitioner, affiliated with the HypnoBirthing Institute USA. Even with her experience, Ginny believes in improving her skills continously. She recently returned from a 17 day trip in USA to complete her further training with Penny Simkin (www.pennysimkin.com) and Doulas of North America (www.dona.org). Penny Simkin is the mother of all Doulas and one of the co-founders of DONA. She is in awe of Penny Simkin, who is her role model, and is immensely inspired by Penny's dedication to serve parents with a warm heart because birth matters. |

About Amy (Denmark) Amy originally came to Singapore from Australia to take up a Research position at NUS, after completing her PhD in Science at the Australian National University . After the birth of her second child, she changed direction and started her "second career", following her passion for childbirth, breastfeeding, and parenting. Amy founded Four Trimesters in 2001 after working as a doula and childbirth educator in Singapore . Amy is a well recognized figure in local parenting forums and has been very active in the breastfeeding counseling and childbirth scene in Singapore for many years. Amy is currently residing in Copenhagen , and Singapore remains her home base. Apart from providing childbirth, breastfeeding and Diaper Free Baby support in London and now Denmark , she also maintains the Four Trimesters website and contributes articles to local magazines and websites. Amy is married with two children aged 7 and 4, and her family is busy settling into their new home in Copenhagen . |
About Tracy (Ireland) Doula Ireland is owned and operated by Tracy Donegan a Certified Doula and a Hypnobirthing Educator. She has spent the last 12 years living int eh US and Asia . Tracy is married and has a 2 year old son. She is a member of DONA, Doula UK and UNIFEM (United Nations Development Fund for Women) and the Professional Board of Hypnotherapy. Tracy 's new book on maternity care in Ireland will be published in Jan 2006! |

How Tracy became a doula? "When my son Jack was born in California I was fortunate to have a wonderful doula at his birth. I thought about taking some training for a long time after he was born but the time never seemed to be right.. When our family was moved to Singapore I suddenly became a stay at home mum with extra time on my hands. Over the past two years I have completed my doula training and supported many medicated and non-medicated births in both hospital and home settings. I have also completed Reiki Level 1 and find it very helpful for pregnancy discomforts. I had the wonderful pleasure of learning HypnoBirthing with the founder of the HypnoBirthing Institute of America - Marie Mongan and find HypnoBirthing to be the most enjoyable part of my work." - Tracy |
